Oxford Guardian

About Us

Oxford Guardian is a small professional organization that provides guardians for students who are studying overseas. Guardians act in loco parentis, and so aim to work closely with parents to ensure the best possible environment for a young person's study.

As well as watching out for the student's general welfare, guardians will also keep in contact with students to keep a check on their academic progress. For example they will regularly attend parent's evenings at the young person's school.

For example they will regularly attend parent's evenings at the young person's school. Should any matter of serious concern be raised about the welfare of the student the Guardian will be contacted immediately, and will act as the student's formal representative.

Oxford Guardian encourages close co-operation with families in every matter that concerns the student!

Oxford Guardian is run by Mr Nick Bensted, M.A. (Oxon), B.A. who is also the Principal of All Nations Tutorial College, Oxford. Nick tutors, hosts students and likes running in his spare time. In the photo he is standing next to the lady in the green dress (his wife!).
